Thanks...I'll take it.

My cute neighbor Kristy gave me this award, I have to send it to 7 people and I am totally sending it back to her because I love her blog...it is better than getting the daily paper. She always has something crafty/whitty/funny all rolled together almost every day!

So here are the rules of receiving this award.

The rules of this award state: (1) The winner can put the logo on their blog. (2) Link the person you received your award from. (3) Nominate at least 7 other blogs. (4) Put links of those on yours. (5) Leave a message on the blogs of the girls or boys you’ve nominated.

The other blogs I nominate are:
Kelly Nordfelt...an old college roomie. I love reading her blog because it is real and I can hear her voice when I am reading it. Plus she has a creative way of posting things, I especially love the NYC trip in 1 paragraph.
Eugena...I love her sarcasm and clever posts...mostly I love that we found each other on blogosphere because she is one of my favorite long lost friends/partners in crime from high school
Georgia girls...acutally this is a lame blog, it had potential but they rarely post. I still get a good laugh at the title...home is where your mom is.
Julie Vancott...my good friend that loves being loved. I love being able to keep up on her family that lives so far away now.
Annie...another old high school friend that I love to keep up on...even though her posts are few and far between.
There are more, but I have to get back to church...( I ditched sunday school :)

Grandpa Morris

Grandpa Morris died last week. He was really old and really suffering from the ailments that come with old age. He died at home where my grandma got to take care of him till the end. He isn't a birth Grandpa, but he is a great Grandpa. He married my grandma 8 years ago and he loved her so much. He also loved our family, especially our kids as well. We are going to miss him, but it was a great occasion to have almost all of our family together for the week. I LOVED having all my california cousins here and Tara and Casey who came back from selling pest control for the funeral We are all exhausted from partying all week, we spent almost every night together doing things like eating and playing games and my favorite...sitting and talking. Rachel was here...I especially love her, she is my best cousin/friend. We lived together in college where we fought like sisters and are still pretty close despite the fact that she is big time into politics, single life and lives in northern California. She actually is dating a mormon bar-tender which cracks me up, because that is so her. Here are some pictures of the funeral and all of us cousins together.

Going...Going...GONE!!!!!

We just sold our Snowie to Pastor Steve from Texas. I was running outside to take a picture of it driving out down the road but I was too slow. We still have the old broken shaver that is going to be rebuilt so if you want to rent it for a party...let me know. I was a little sad...but relieved...hopefully next month I get to call our financial advisor Dave Ramsey and scream "I'm Debt Free" On the phone. I am so excited...stay tuned to his radio show on nights from 7-10 so you can hear me. My cousin is worried that I am going to hell for torturing a pastor...say a little prayer for me.

Naughty Girl!

I went 65 miles per hour on Redwood Road last night...It was thrilling, not to mention invigorating.
