Christmas was a little stressful trying to get the kids away from their toys to go to church. We had to do two takes of a Kids Picture so we could try to salvage any pleasant memories of the day. Makay was thrilled that we only had 1 hour of church. I told him we didn't have to go to primary and we were going home after Sacrament Meeting, and he put his hand in the air, made a fist and said "Awesome!" He gets that from his Mommy :) All in all is was a great holiday season. We visited Temple Square, made toffee, went to a movie, the kids picked out presents for each other and Josh and Milo made Penny Hockey boards for cousins and friends. The kids even tried to do Secret Service for each other to try to keep the spirit of the Holiday in our home.

Temple Square

We went to Temple Square with the Rassavongs this year. The kids love going down there and seeing the lights. Their favorite part is the Nativity and the Christus Statue. We were trying to leave early because it was so crowded and all of them said they didn't want to go yet since we haven't even gotten to see Jesus. We rode trax and the kids LOVED that. Then on the way home we drove the Rassavongs extra car. As we were walking back to the car, there was a big huge spotlight shining on a building and Anthony ran up to it and flexed his muscles into the light so there was a big muscle man shadow for everyone to see. It was hillarious.

Boys Only Cookie Party

We had the cousins over today and decorated Sugar Cookies. I am pretty sure Duncan spent the whole time mixing his frosting to get that sought after Camouflage effect. He was pretty proud of it, but you couldn't have paid me to try it. Then I am pretty sure I got locked out of the basement while they had a dance party and played Ninjago.

Christmasing

We've been busy, trying to have fun and stay busy while they wait the big day when Santa drops his load in our living room. I even took a beauty shot of my Toffee when it was snowing. I LOVE Toffee, I have snitched it a few times this month along with mom's Stollen. I wasn't about to let some silly health trend like no sugar get in the way of my holiday traditions.

I need to update my blog.....IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY, I am feeling horribly behind.
