Focus

I don't get how you can have a hugely full bladder and come inside to go to the bathroom and instead, decide to lay on the couch and wonder where you dad is...Seriously that Milo has major focusing issues. No wonder he pees his pants all the time.
FYI I can't wait till the Twilight movie comes out...I just watched the trailor again to get phyched up for the big day.

Just you wait...

I am insanely jealous of all of you creative/artistic mothers out there that get to express themselves with photography. I love photography and I always have ever since I can remember...one of my darkest times of life are a result of my photographer dreams being shattered (losing the SBO officer race as the historian...If you are out there...Shawn O'brian, I still hold a grudge, it would have saved me a whole lot of trouble and tears if you have never run in the first place) Josh is a better artist than I ever will be, but I can still take pictures, dang it! One of these days, you will have the pleasure of enjoying Kristen Mendenhall Photography on my blog and will be hanging it in your homes...For now, I'll just hire Jen Turk so I don't miss out on my own kids fabulous pictures while there little. I just need to get my hands on a some $$$ for a camera and some time and classes to train me. Until then The Nikon "cool pix" isn't working to satisfy my artist urges, but it'll have to do.

My girls...

There is nothing like getting together with my old college roommates. I can't get enough of those stinking cute girls. We always end up staying extra long and talking for hours, or playing games, laughing, giving advice, reminiscing, I love their kids, their husbands and it always feels so good to be around them. They are a sort of extended family to me. I got to stop at Annies on the way to California this summer and that was possibly my favorite part of the trip. Her house was so cute and it was fun to see what her life is like in Fernley NV. This past weekend, we left Milo home with Erica (thanks again) and went to St George with Kim and Michelle for the weekend to see Les Miserables at the Tuachan theatre. We spent the day on Friday at Zion's park and hiked up to emerald pools (one of our old favorites) and ate Cafe Rio for dinner and swam in the pool that night. It was funny, I was so tired the whole trip, and I never wanted to go to bed because I wanted to spend as much time with them as I possibly could. On saturday, we met my folks for lunch (they were down there too) and the boys went back and watched the BYU game and we went shopping together. It was so fun to try on clothes together and help each other find stuff for our babies. The show was good, the food was good, and I wonder why we don't do that every weekend.
