My posts have been lacking because I have blog guilt, mostly because Josh reads them and then thinks that all I did was sit at the computer and blog all day, so I have to hurry, which is one of the many reasons that my blog is lacking in creative posts.
Makay is crawling backwards and kind of does this inchworm thing to go forwards. He's not very fast but, he can get what he wants most of the time.
This is Milo throwing a ball at the dunking booth at Grandpa's work party. Grandpa was the one on the seat. Erica has a better action photo of dad actually in the water. It was a fundraiser for a home building charity that he is part of.
This is dad waiting to be dunked. It was pretty funny! He had to be on there for 10 minutes and they charged $1 per throw. He got dunked easily over 10 times, I lost count. This work party is one of our favorite summer traditions, especially since Josh's work has no summer parties, and the Christmas party is at the Chuckarama, if we're lucky, it was at the golden corral last year:(
I would love to buy a new Christmas dress, so if any of you want to invite us to your formal dinner and dancing style work parties, we're there.
For the most part this has been an awesome summer. Josh Graduated, the weather has been pleasantly not too hot, we have been having some fun. We even went kayaking down the Provo river...I totally wrecked into a bridge and dumped over in the river some girl on a tube had to come help me get the kayak out of the water cause it was full of water. I was thinking I want to do a bigger river, but maybe I should practice going under bridges a couple of more times before I set out for bigger rivers.
The fun still on my agenda is, I want to go up to the Alpine Slide in Park City, and make one more trip to lake Powell since it is no longer freezing cold down there, go on at least one date with Josh, and maybe even go to a movie. When it cools down a bit, I want to go to Lagoon and the Zoo with the kids too. I doubt this will all happen, but here's to wishing.
(sorry my pictures are so terrible, my camera is lost and i have been taking them on my phone, go Motorolla Razor.)
Last Monday morning our snowie guy went out to work and somebody had shaken the building so all the flavors fell off the shelves and spilled all over the place. So we have been putting the flavors on the floor at night but Saturday night they didn't get put down, so the little jerks came back and this time it knocked the machine on, and the machine was running all weekend and melted the housing and burned out our ice shaver. Now I love that Ice shaver...it makes me so happy. Even though the snowie is a pain in the --- , I still love the fact that I get to go get a free snow cone any time I want and it makes pretty good snow cones. But now, I can't even go get my ---- free snow cone. My only choices are ice cream pucks, bags of ice, and bottles of half empty flavors. At least I bought $75 worth of spoon straws last week so we can suck the syrup out of the cups. I hate the Eagle Mountain spot. This thing could be awesome and so fun if we didn't live in LAME Saratoga Springs, that doesn't let me have a snowie here. I am going to be petitioning the city council this month to change the laws so we can move it here next year, and if I am unsuccesful, if anybody wants to buy it, it is going to be for sale...with a brand new shaver because I have to go buy a new one this week.
