Power Up!

(Don't let this smiley baby fool you...if you want a snuggle and you are not mom, you will be met with a blood curdling scream that only a shot at the Dr office could invoke)
I made a new discovery. They sell iceberg lettuce at Costco in a 3 pack. I bought it because the grocery store lettuce has been sucking lately and it looked yummy and crisp. I don't usually buy iceberg, although I LOVE it, but I figure if i use it in place of bread/tortillas, it is a great alternative. Last night we had KILLER lettuce wraps with chicken, tons of veggies and yummy dip. Today I had a turkey pickle mustard lettuce wrap for lunch. I feel super satisfied and proud of my carb free lunch.
I have lost 5 lbs so far on WW, which isn't much in almost 7 weeks, but I am proud of every crappy ounce that I have struggled to get off of my butt. It has been a bit of a battle with nursing and trying to lose weight, but I finally figured out a balance that is working for me to be able to lose 1 lb per week. Some weeks I do really good exercising, but it seems like my whole day has to revolve around it, so other weeks when I need to accomplish something else, I am not so good.
I want to go buy some new runners, so maybe I'll be excited about getting up early when the world is frosted over to run, but my bed eats me every morning. One day the fit, motivated girl will emerge from the soft, sleepy form that is my body right now.

Where's Milo?

Milo has been getting a lot of posts lately..but I couldn't pass this one up. Last night he got up to go to the bathroom and I went to say good night after and I couldn't find him anywhere. I looked in the garage, backyard, my bed, his bed, Makays bed, the office, the couch....and I found him in the place I would have never thought to look. Who knows maybe he thought he was climbing into his bunk bed. Crazy Kid.

And I can't pass up a baby picture. This Crazy Haired girl loves her swing. Thanks Emma for letting us borrow it. I promise the boys won't ruin it.

Best Valentines Day Ever.

First of all THANK YOU! to all of our family and friends who helped our first cake pop sale to be a crazy success. It was a lot of hard work and Milo had tons of fun. I think Makay had more fun, but it was good because it got theem thinking about their mission. Milo asked me if one of his favorite cousins Anthony and he could go on their missions together. And I gave Makay a dollar for helping and he said "this is for my mission." We cake popped all weekend, Sunday we had dinner at Grandma's and Monday morning, the UPS man greeted me with fresh flowers sent by Josh. We finished delivering cake pops I helped at Milo's school party, and after school he and I went to the store together to pick out prizes for our family bingo game. He picked a yoyo for dad, light sabers for the boys, shoes for nora and I picked out some new mascara for me. We had heart shaped pizza, with a mix-up menu on our fancy china dishes. Makay threw a fit because he ordered a fork first and wanted food. Milo, was cute, he checked off his menu after he ordered each piece. We finished up dinner with kneaders red velvet cupcakes and bingo. Josh was cheating, he played two cards so he could win first. Nice. Milo was in charge of the prizes and he was excited to pull them out for each winner. Nora actually won first. After dinner, we watched popeye, then 2 episodes of lost then filled up the bathtub in case THE earthquake came while we were sleeping.
